The MMX OEM Camber Arm Bearing is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminium to replace the factory rubber bush found on BMW G8x and F8x M2, M3 and M4 models. Where the standard rubber bush allows movement under load, this pillow bush design eliminates that deflection entirely, giving the rear suspension a fixed, predictable pivot point through every phase of a corner.
That precision translates directly into consistent rear camber settings under dynamic driving. As load transfers through acceleration, braking and cornering, the arm holds its geometry rather than flexing, keeping the contact patch working as intended rather than losing camber angle mid-corner. The knock-on effect is more even tyre wear and more stable temperatures across the tyre, since it is no longer fighting unwanted camber change under load.
For the driver, this shows up as tangibly improved chassis dynamics: sharper feedback, quicker response to inputs, and a rear end that stays composed under hard driven road or track use. It is a focused, single-purpose upgrade rather than a full suspension overhaul, so it complements the rest of the OEM setup without altering the car's fundamental character.
Durability is addressed with a rubber-booted pillow bush, protecting the bearing from road grime and moisture while retaining the rigidity benefit over the standard part. Installation is a direct OEM-fit replacement requiring no modifications, making it equally suited to a daily-driven road car or a dedicated track build.
Full vehicle kits require 2x MMR55-1650 (toe/traction arm bearing) and 2x MMR55-1651 (this part), or for vehicles with an adjustable rear toe arm (MMR55-1609), 1x MMR55-1650 and 2x MMR55-1651.
